Our Manifesto 2025-2029

Our Manifesto for 2025-2029 is centred on three main themes:
  • Thriving Business and Professional Services
A thriving Aldgate where business and the professional services sectors prosper
  • Sustainable and Green Aldgate
A greener Aldgate committed to sustainable growth and cutting carbon emissions
  • Diverse Aldgate
A diverse Aldgate where businesses thrive on diversity

Our Manifesto for 2022-2025 was centered around the public realm in Aldgate and our "Green Aldgate" initiative. We have introduced wider pavements, new public spaces as well as getting a conservation area for all of the heritage assets around Creechuch Lane.

Make sure you have a vote - and if your company has appointed you a voter please ensure you have a Postal Vote - which you can have sent to your work, or preferably to you at home.

Who We Are - Team Aldgate

Left to right: Mandeep Thandi CC, David Sales CC, Alderwoman and Past Sheriff Dame Susan Langley, Lesley Cole (prospective candidate for 2025 Common Councillor election), Tim McNally CC, Andrien Meyers CC

We are five candidates who have come together to form an independent team and stand for the five Aldgate Ward seats. We are like-minded individuals who share a common purpose: to facilitate and develop a vibrant Aldgate Ward, where businesses and the community can thrive and prosper.

Our complementary professional backgrounds and experiences span across Insurance, Professional Services, IT, and Sustainability. This diversity has enabled us to create a shared vision focused on delivering positive change for the residents and businesses of Aldgate Ward. Over the past three-year term, we have worked to meet your expectations and now seek your feedback on how we can continue to evolve our work to support your changing needs.

As a result, we have set out our 2025-2029 Manifesto, as we believe these areas capture your requirements and expectations for the next term.
